StoryGraph
A fully-featured Amazon-free alternative to Goodreads
StoryGraph is the all-in-one platform for your bookish needs. Custom Tags & Lists. Organise, search, and filter books by your tags and share …
The StoryGraph was created in 2019 by software engineer and developer Nadia Odunayo as an independent, alternative book-tracking and recommendation platform.
The platform saw massive user influxes following political shifts in late 2024 as readers protested Amazon ownership. It surpassed 4 million signups by April 2025 and reached over 5 million active users by January 2026. 1
