Extreme Programming: He helped create Extreme Programming, a method focused on improving software quality and responsiveness to changing customer requirements.

The Rule: He is credited with Cunningham’s Law, which states that “the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question, but to post the wrong answer”.
